I am a  lover of music and an amateur performer.  I have much to say about musical beauty and music's contribution to personal beauty. 

I was pleased to see Hinder's recent affectation-free timeless rock piece called Lips of an Angel.  While I love many kinds of music I persist in my belief in Rock as a valid art form.  While its potential is often shamelessly squandered by musicians who appear unwilling to perfect their craft, occasionally someone reminds us of the heights that Rock can reach.
